01 Implementation of District Family Planning Programme

02 To implement the mother and child program of the district

03 Ensuring the organization of regular and special permanent procedures at the upazila level

Ensuring participation of family planning department field workers in special days (NID) including routine Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) activities of the government


12 Ensuring supply of various materials including DDS kits (drugs) and birth control materials to all service centers including satellite clinics at upazila and lower levels.

13 District, upazila and lower levels of manpower recruitment, posting and transfer recommendations and implementation in necessary cases

14 Ensuring and strengthening supervision and monitoring supporting the implementation of family planning, maternal and child health and reproductive health programs in the district.

15 Taking measures to investigate irregularities or any other complaints in the provision of services received from the upazila and lower level people under the district.

16 To implement other functions as per the directives and policies of the Directorate of Family Planning of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

17 To ensure organization of monthly coordination meeting between District Family Planning Officers and N, G, O representatives every month.

18 To ensure the organization of district family planning committee meetings and to implement any responsibilities given by the committee

19 Every officer at the upazila and district level verifies the means of at least 20 persons and 10 couples and sends them between the 10th and 20th of the month respectively.
